ATT. Cansu ŞEKERCİ, Mediator

Cansu, the Founding Partner of ŞEKERCİ Law & Consultancy, began her legal career at a law partnership with a broad and diverse litigation practice, where she completed her legal internship and gained the foundational experience of her profession. In 2018, she established ŞEKERCİ Law & Consultancy, shaping the firm’s practice with a strategic and multidisciplinary approach.

Since 2017, she has been practicing law concurrently with her civil society work at Civil Society Association in the Penal Enforcement System (CISST), integrating her legal expertise with human rights–oriented advocacy. Her primary areas of practice include Criminal Law, Contract Law, Data Protection Law, Condominium Law, Labour Law, Healthcare Law and Execution Law. In addition to her legal practice, she actively serves as a mediator, contributing to the effective resolution of disputes through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

Duygu is an Attorney at Law with nearly ten years of experience serving as in-house counsel at leading holding companies in the energy sector and the defense industry, with a particular focus on licensed and unlicensed production, energy investment projects, procurement, energy trading, and defense industry contracts. She joined ŞEKERCİ Law & Consultancy in 2022.

Her practice focuses on Energy Law, Competition Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Data Protection Law, Lease Law, Refugee Law, and Negotiation and Contract Processes. Duygu is also actively engaged in expert mediation and expert witness activities in the fields of energy and mining.
